June 2024
Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD – June 27 (Nintendo Switch)
Okay, so this may not qualify as a “horror” title, but it has ghosts and a spooky vibe, and that’s enough for me. ‘Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD’ is a remake/remaster of the 3DS original that was released in 2013. This new version enhances the original’s graphics and gameplay.
Here’s how Nintendo describes the game:
“Join the faint-of-heart hero Luigi on a spooky quest in Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD for Nintendo Switch. In this visually enhanced adventure, take a trip to the eerie Evershade Valley and explore haunted mansions that are screaming and teeming with troublemaking ghouls and paranormal puzzles.”

Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl – September 5 (Xbox Series consoles, PC)

Silent Hill 2 – October 8 (PS5 and Steam)
One of the most beloved survival horror games of all-time will finally get a remake this fall. Developed by Bloober Team (‘Layers of Fear’), this remake of the PS2 classic modernizes the graphics and gameplay, while still retaining the eerie atmosphere of the original.

No More Room in Hell 2 – October 31 (Early Access – PC)
This sequel to the 2011 hit is an 8-player co-op experience filled to the brim with blood and gore. ‘No More Room in Hell 2’ will release in early access this Halloween.
Here’s the description from Steam:
“No More Room in Hell 2 is an intense & terrifying permadeath co-op journey into the eerie darkness of zombie-infested zones. As an emergency responder you must survive, scavenge, stockpile and fulfill your mission – then repeat, each time in an ever-changing experience.”

Fear the Spotlight – Fall 2024 (PC and Consoles)
Described as a “narrative horror” game, ‘Fear the Spotlight’ is a low-poly, unsettling tribute to PS1-era horror experiences.
