“Evil Dead” : Everything we know about the next film

After the rip-roaring “Evil Dead Rise”, fans of the long running franchise are eager to know what’s next.

While details on the next “Evil Dead” film are scarce, we do know a few things about it.

Francis Gallupi will direct “Evil Dead 6”

The currently untitled sixth “Evil Dead” film will be directed by Francis Gallupi, who is best known for directing the crime-thriller “The Last Stop in Yuma County”. 

Gallupi, though not very well-known to film fans, earned high praise from the original “Evil Dead” director, Sam Raimi, who told Deadline, “Francis Galluppi is a storyteller who knows when to keep us waiting in simmering tension and when to hit us with explosive violence. He is a director that shows uncommon control in his feature debut.”

What is “Evil Dead 6” About?

We don’t have any plot details at this time, but Deadline claims it is an “original story” that was conceived by Gallupi.
