‘Little Nightmares III’: Everything We Know
The third entry in the popular ‘Little Nightmares’ franchise is on the way. Announced in 2023, this next entry will follow two new characters, known as “Low” and “Alone”, as they journey through a dark world full of nightmarish beings.
When will ‘Little Nightmare III’ release and what platforms will it be on?
This is the question we’re all wondering, and, sadly, we just don’t know the release date yet. The official website only states “2024”, but given how we’re halfway through the year, we shouldn’t have to wait too much longer before we have the game in our hands.
‘Little Nightmares III’ will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X & S, and Nintendo Switch.
Will Six appear in ‘Little Nightmares III’? Who are the characters?
Many are wondering if Six, the main playable character from the first game and a companion in the second, will appear in the third chapter.
But, as the game’s official site states, LN3 will follow a new set of characters known as “Low” and “Alone”. It’s currently unknown if Six will appear, though given the character’s prominence in the franchise, it’s not out of the question.
What will the gameplay be like?
Based on what the trailer showed, the gameplay approach appears to follow closely in the footsteps of its predecessors. The game can be played cooperatively online or solo with an AI companion. As of now, it doesn’t appear that the game features local co-op.
When will we hear more about ‘Little Nightmares III’?
The game was announced at the Geoff Keighly-hosted Opening Night Live Gamescom event in 2023. There’s a chance we could see LM3 again at this year’s event (held late in the summer), or possibly even earlier at Keighly’s Summer Games Fest showcase on June 7.
