Rumored Spielberg UFO Movie Dated for Summer 2026

Steven Spielberg’s next movie will be a ‘event film’ hitting theaters on May 15, 2026. 

The mysterious film is rumored to be a UFO movie based on Spielberg’s own original idea. Frequent Spielberg collaborator David Koepp (‘Jurassic Park’, ‘War of the Worlds’) will write the script. The Hollywood Reporter states that plot details are under wraps at this time.

The movie will be Spielberg’s first summer blockbuster since 2008’s ‘Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’, another Koepp-scripted flick. 

Universal and Amblin Entertainment will produce the film.
